“Go ye therefore and preach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen ” Matt.28:19- 20.
We praise our Lord God almighty who ordained in his providence that Hanamkonda be a place to worship Him and spread the Gospel to the surrounding areas and for all his tender mercies during the past 126 years from 1880 to 2006 of work and labour for His glory. No occasion is more suitable than this to gratefully remember our saintly American Baptist Missionaries who worked among us, retired from active service are spending their old age in their native land, to be with the Lord to receive their reward. Who worked among us facing the hostile climate undaunted, died and lay buried in Indian soil, far far away from their own people and country. We will be ungrateful if we do not remember our native pastors, who laboured amongst us facing hunger, persecution, sickness and sometimes death; some who are spending their old age in retired life. They sacrificed themselves for the glory of God, to make us what we are today.
